Aims & Scope

The journal emphasizes research demonstrating measurable engineering performance improvement, system reliability enhancement, scalability, and deployment feasibility across industrial and infrastructure applications, benchmarking research, interdisciplinary approaches, and the translation of theoretical concepts into practical implementations.

The journal welcomes original contributions in applied and interdisciplinary engineering domains, particularly those involving industrial systems, energy and sustainability, smart infrastructure, data-driven engineering, materials and process engineering, and automation and control systems.

Submissions must demonstrate technical rigor and reproducibility through well-defined approaches, such as the integration of modeling, simulation with prototype development, and optimization supported by real-world implementation.

The journal publishes a wide range of article types, including research articles, review papers, case studies, and short communications. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. The review process ensures academic integrity, methodological rigor, technical accuracy, and relevance to the journal’s focus, in line with established ethical publishing standards.

As a fully open access journal, Advances in Applied Engineering is committed to the unrestricted dissemination of knowledge, enabling global accessibility and visibility of published work. Editorial decisions are made independently by the editorial board based solely on scholarly merit and technical contribution. The journal supports the development of engineering research by providing a transparent, inclusive, and impact-oriented publishing environment that bridges the gap between academia and industry.
