4. Scope of Services
Our Services include, but are not limited to:
- Journal publication and peer-review coordination
- Book publishing, commissioning, and related editorial support
- Call for books / chapters programmes
- Media publication and press-release packages
- Author guidance, formatting guidance, and publication support
These Services are offered to assist authors and researchers. We do not guarantee acceptance or publication of any work in any specific journal or venue. 5. Use of Website and Services
By using this website or any of our Services, you agree that:
- You are at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.
- You will use the website and Services only for lawful purposes.
- You will provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating an order or enquiry.
- You will not submit any unlawful, plagiarised, defamatory, or infringing material.
- You will not misuse or interfere with the website or engage in activity that could damage or disrupt its functionality.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate Services if we believe a user has violated these Terms, supplied misleading information, or engaged in unethical or unlawful behaviour.
6. User Responsibilities
When you submit materials to us, you confirm that:
- You are the rightful author or owner of the work, or have obtained full permission from all co-authors or rights holders.
- The materials do not infringe copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- The data, figures, and findings you supply are truthful and based on genuine research or academic work.
- You will not submit work that violates the ethical standards of research or publication.
You agree to indemnify and hold GLOBAL SCIENTIFIC PUBLISHER harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from a breach of these responsibilities.
7. Quotations, Orders, and Service Delivery
When you submit a quote request or order, our team may provide an estimated cost and timeline. Once you accept a quotation and make payment (where applicable), work begins according to the agreed scope.
Services are typically delivered electronically. Delivery times depend on the nature of the Service and are communicated in advance. If requirements change after work has started, additional charges may apply.
We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate or incomplete information from the user, or for external factors such as system failures, communication issues, or third-party editorial response times.
8. Payment Terms
Fees and prices are stated in the currency shown at the time of order or quotation. Payment is required as agreed before or during service delivery, unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
You are responsible for ensuring payment information is accurate and authorised. Failure to complete payment may result in suspension or cancellation of the order, and completed work may be withheld until payment is received.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Because our services involve professional time-based work, refunds are considered only under specific and reasonable conditions. Refunds may be issued when a service has not yet started, or when we fail to deliver the agreed service as described at the time of purchase. All refund requests are subject to internal review.
You may be eligible for a refund where:
- The service has not begun and you cancel within 24 hours of placing your order.
- There is a verified error or failure on our part that prevents completion of the service.
- The service delivered is significantly different from what was agreed in writing.
Refunds will not generally be provided where:
- Work has already commenced or been completed according to agreed specifications.
- You request outcomes beyond the original scope.
- Dissatisfaction arises from personal preference, writing tone, editing style, or third-party editorial decisions.
- You fail to provide required materials, instructions, or responses that affect the project.
- Journal rejection, reviewer feedback, or institutional response is used as the sole basis for a refund.
Eligible refunds are normally processed via the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days after written confirmation. Payment gateway or bank charges may be deducted. Clients are encouraged to request revisions before seeking a refund.
10. Guarantees and Limitations
While we strive for high quality, our Services are provided for support and assistance. We cannot guarantee specific academic results, grades, citation outcomes, or publication acceptance. Publication decisions depend on independent editorial and peer-review processes beyond our control.
11. Intellectual Property Rights
You retain copyright and ownership of materials, research data, and content you submit to us, subject to any publishing agreement you enter into for accepted works.
By submitting materials for support services, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use, edit, or adapt content solely to provide the requested Services. We will not claim authorship of your academic work unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Website content, templates, tools, branding, and internal materials remain our property. You may not copy, distribute, or reuse website content, pricing information, or marketing materials without prior written permission.
12. Confidentiality
Manuscripts, data, and documents shared with us are treated as confidential. Staff and consultants are required to maintain confidentiality and will not disclose your work except to complete your order or as required by law.
13. Data Protection and Privacy
We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR where applicable. Details of how we collect and use personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
14. Communication
Official communication may take place by email, phone, WhatsApp, or website forms using the contact details you provide. It is your responsibility to keep contact details accurate and active.
15. Warranties and Disclaimers
All Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not warrant that:
- The Services will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- Results will be accepted by any journal, institution, or academic body.
- The website will always be free from viruses or technical issues.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GLOBAL SCIENTIFIC PUBLISHER and its employees, editors, consultants, and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or Services, including loss of data, profits, goodwill, academic standing, reputation, or opportunity.
If we are found liable for any reason, our total liability shall be limited to the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
17. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to external websites or resources for convenience. We do not control or take responsibility for third-party content, accuracy, or policies.
18. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access to Services if you breach these Terms, provide false information, fail to make payment, or submit unlawful or unethical content.
